How to Disable Backlinks and HTML codes in Blogger comments

Usually Bloggers don't like comments that contains backlinks as it makes the comments look SPAM. Many SPAM commentators look for Blogs that allow backlinks in their comments to promote their Blogs or websites as backlinks improves the rank and visitors of the commentators blog. The one method is that while  creating any blog post in blogger, in the blog post editor click Options and then select the radio button "Don't allow" under the Backlinks Option (See the figure given Below).

But the main problem with this method is that every time you create a new post you have to do this and if you have posted many posts earlier you have to edit all once more and change this option. So, What to do now? Do not worry, just follow these simple steps to disable Backlinks or any HTML code in the comments:

• Firstly, Go To Blogger Dashboard>>Template.

• Then Click on Edit Html Option.

• Now in the code editor window, search for the </body> tag. You can do so by Pressing Ctrl+f and then typing the </body> tag in the search box and then press enter. 

• After finding the tag, paste the code given below before the </body> tag (See Figure Below).

• Save the changes and You are done!

How this code will help you to disable backlinks:

The code above will search for the HTML tags in the comments and will disable them i.e will allow only Plain text. For eg. : If any one comments <a href="http://pretoproblogger.blogspot.com"> PreToPro Blogger </a>. The code will only allow PreToPro Blogger, no link will be allowed. Thus it will prevent anybody from creating Backlinks.
