<i>Many posts have been written on how to increase your pageviews or visits. But there is a difference between visitors and readers. After all, every problogger wants to increase their potential readers. But How to increase your readers? This will be my topic today. Every problogger targets to convert their visitors into readers. Now the question is that how to make a visitor your permanent reader. The answer is simple you just have to focus on quality content. Quality content, as I discussed in earlier posts in the most important aspect of a good blog. A good content with detailed information makes a visitor keen to stay longer on your blog reading your posts and coming again to your blog. Here are some great points that can help you to make your visitors stay long on your blog:</i><br />

<b>Quality Content:</b> The MOST important thing is quality content. Nobody will come to your blog to read rubbish. With quality content I mean content relevant to your niche, has all the details about the topic discussed in the post etc.<br />

<b>Show related posts links below every post:</b> A lot of visitors look for posts related to the post that he/she was reading on your blog. It will not only keep the visitors engaged with the content of his/her choice but will also decrease your bounce rate.<br />

<b>Here Are some basic but still important guidelines that you should follow while designing your blog and adding content to it :</b><br />

<li>Make a site with a clear hierarchy and text links. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link. (Clean and Simple Design)</li>
</ul>

<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Offer a <a href="http://pretoproblogger.blogspot.com/2013/08/what-are-sitemaps-why-and-how-to-submit.html" target="_blank">sitemap</a> to your users with links that point to the important parts of your site. If the site map has an extremely large number of links, you may want to break the site map into multiple pages. (If You can't afford to make a page for sitemap make sure that your homepage has links to all the important pages)</li>
</ul>

<li>Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number. (Search Engines like <a href="http://google.com/">google</a> don't like pages with more than 100 links)</li>
</ul>

<li>Create a useful, information-rich site, and write pages that clearly and accurately describe your content. (Stick to your niche) </li>
</ul>

<li>Think about the words users would type to find your pages, and make sure that your site actually includes those words within it. (Well I don't know what it is called I call it keywording. If You know what it is called please let me know too..)</li>

<li>Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. The Google crawler doesn't recognize text contained in images. If you must use images for textual content, consider using the "ALT" attribute to include a few words of descriptive text. (Write for the humans but also make sure that your content is readable to the search engine robots/crawlers)</li>

<li>Make sure that your <title> elements and ALT attributes are descriptive and accurate. (The thing that influences your ranking the most is <title> Choose Your Title For the page accurately)</li>
</ul>

<li>Check for broken links and correct HTML. (There are plenty of services on the web that will do it for you but if you can squeeze some cash out of your pocket.)</li>
</ul>

<li>If you decide to use dynamic pages (i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), be aware that not every search engine spider crawls dynamic pages as well as static pages. It helps to keep the parameters short and the number of them few.( Remember making your Blog extra dynamic can decrease your ranking for except your content is exceptionally good).</li>
